Bob Holmes' assembly for my students was fabulous! The volleyball games were exciting and fun with Bob finding many ways to engage the students throughout. After Bob wowed us with his wicked volleyball serve and beat each of our teams, including the staff team, he delivered a beautiful message of love, hope, kindness, and good choices. During his message all 1500 students were silent, hanging on to his every word. Totally worth it!

Bob is the real deal and I’m not talking about his volleyball skills! The message that Bob gives to the students is EXACTLY what our youth needs to hear. We have 600+ kids in our school and every one of them was engaged in Bob’s message. Bob grabbed the students’ attention by playing volleyball against different student groups and staff members. Bob was energetic, funny, and entertaining. I highly recommend Bob Holmes to other schools.

Bob Holmes was phenomenal in interacting with our students and grabbing their attention. When he shifts to some really serious conversations, you could have heard a pin drop with 1400 people in the gym. His personal stories and encouragement to make positive life choices hit home with our high school students. It is rare to find someone who has dedicated his life to helping kids overcome their own odds and choose to pursue positive choices. If you're looking for an assembly that is fun, engaging for all, and hard-hitting about impaired driving, suicide, bullying/harassment, and overcoming the odds, this is a great assembly for your school.

Dear Bob,
I just wanted to thank you for the terrific program that you presented to our students. Our building is still talking about the fun they had watching you play volleyball, as well as the positive message that you presented. In fact, I have gotten a couple of calls from parents who called and thanked us for having such a wonderful assembly. I would highly recommend your program for any middle school or high school.
Thanks again for visiting our school.

Bob Holmes put on the most entertaining and meaningful assembly performance that I've seen in my entire career in education. He dazzled our students with humor, action, and athleticism. After captivating them with his amazing volleyball skills, he delivered a message about making good decisions. I will be recommending Mr. Bob Holmes to every principal that will listen.

Bob,
I would like to thank you so much for the assembly on Monday. Many of the students were thrilled with the games and were inspired by your talk. Even if only one student is affected by your message, it was worth the time. I feel very fortunate that we were able to have you come to Windham. Many of the teachers were quite impressed and have taken your postcards to spouses who teach in other schools and to their communities. In the 32 years that I have been teaching I feel that this was the best assembly and will be sure to pass that information on to many others.
Thank you again,

Hi Bob,
I thought everything was GREAT. What a powerful message. My daughter said that a lot of the assemblies have a message that is just preaching to kids. She really liked that you showed how you can beat the odds and your talk was brief and powerful. A clear message without preaching, but doing, having fun, and still having a meaningful message. Thank you for everything!

Mr. Bob Holmes did an outstanding job of catching the student's attention from the first second he stepped onto the court until his last word. Our middle school students connected with Mr. Holmes and responded to his message of the dark side of bullying, alcohol, and drugs. His presentation was lively, exciting, and powerful. It was truly an amazing performance in that our whole community has been talking about the "One-Man Volleyball Team."
